BalanceLeaf

A private money app for Android

Know what you can spend, and who owes what.

Plan what you want to buy, keep track of what you spend, and split bills with friends and family without a spreadsheet.

Works without an account No ads, no tracking Your data stays on your phone

Four simple parts

Each one answers a plain question, and they always add up to the same numbers.

Wishlist

Plan what you want to buy each month. Tick a wish off when you buy it and it counts as spent.

Money

Record everyday expenses and income. “Money you have now” always shows what is really in your pocket.

Shared

Split a bill, see who has to give what, and settle up. Trips and flats keep their bills together.

Where it went

See each month by kind and by category, against last month and your budget.

Shared

Splitting a bill, the way you would explain it

Divide equally, by exact amounts, by shares or by percentage. If more than one person paid, each is compared with what they paid. The app tells you the result before you save.

  • Trips and flats show what they came to, and suggest the fewest payments to finish up
  • Let go of what someone owes, or take a removed line back, nothing is ever overwritten
  • Repeating bills, like rent, keep their split every month
Dividing a 40,000 rupee rent by shares, with each person's part shown before saving

Where it went

See the month at a glance

Your spending by wishes, everyday and shared, by category, and over the last six months. It always adds up to “My expenses” on your Overview.

Biggest things, the last six months, and what people owe, for one month

Private by design

BalanceLeaf keeps your records on your phone. There is no account to make, no advertising and no analytics. If you want a safety copy, the app can save a backup to a hidden, app-only area of your own Google Drive, and nobody else can open it.
